Dr. Abhay Shrivastava did his doctorate in sociology from Institute of Social Science, Agra University, Agra. He has worked in Institutions like, National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, Ministry of Home affairs, N.Delhi and Central Health education Bureau, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare New Delhi etc.. He has also contributed several Research Papers in reputed journals and edited book. He has written a book on International Encyclopedia of Word Nations and Nationalities. Presently He is Head, Faculty of Disaster Management, Gurgaon.He has trained in Japan through Japan International agency in Disaster management. He has drafted various Policy Rules, Acts, Sops in Disaster Management for the Sate of Haryana. He is also visiting Faculty of National Institute of Health and Family and Welfare, New Delhi, IIPA, New Delhi, Punjab Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Institute of Fire Management, Airport Authority of India, Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi etc.
