Aim
The aim of
the Centre is to promote prevention, mitigation, and preparedness, Emergency
Response and recovery among the state officials and other stakeholders in the
field of Disaster Management.
Mission
To build
the capacity & competency of state government and other stakeholders through
training, research and consultancy for all the phases of Disaster Management.
Vision
We seek to
develop, strengthen and upgrade qualities of professionalism, responsiveness,
integrity and courage amongst civil servants, in our endeavor to promote
excellence and good governance in the State of Haryana for management of
disasters through research and training aimed at enhancement of skills,
knowledge and attitudinal changes.
Objectives
To impart training and organize workshop, seminars, conferences, etc. for all stakeholders of the Haryana state.
To undertake activities of research, human resource development, public education, documentation and community awareness in Disaster Management.
To liaison with state government departments, international &
national agencies, institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders.
